UTSG National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women #utsgremembers

On December 6th, the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women is commemorated in Canada. In 1989, 14 Engineering students of l’École Polytechnique de Montreal were targeted and murdered because they were women. This year marks the 30th anniversary of this tragic event. Every year, the UTSG community comes together to honour these 14 women, and to raise awareness of gender-based violence through various events.
